is turmeric toxic for cats

is turmeric toxic for cats?
i've read on a couple of sites that a light dusting of turmeric over a cats kibble will promote healiNG... DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE? or at least wether turmeric is toxic or not?

Came across your post as I was doing research for my own cat because I found an probiotic aciphilous at trader joes I wanted to give to my cat that has stomach issues but it has tumeric in it for coloring - pure stupidity who needs coloring in a vitamin - and I found this - so I wouldn't give it to my cat.

No one should start any supplement without talking to their vet. That goes double for something that is not specifically labeled for cats.
