Good morning, friends! I'm wondering how do you kick-start your day, with coffee or tea? Energy drinks, vitamin water, or a smoothie?

What gets you going in the morning?

I love coffee with cream! For about a year I drank Earl Grey tea with honey, but now it's back to delicious coffee.

Always always coffee in the morning. With a splash of Bailey's coffee creamer. Nothing else compares. But, I often can't sleep at night without a cup of hot tea. Tazo's "Awake" as a matter of fact... Funny how that works out.

I don't drink anything caffeinated in the morning, LOL. Unless I'm up super early and have lots to do all day. I usually have my coffee about 1 or 2 in the afternoon, because that's when I get tired. I have coffee because it has more caffeine but I really prefer tea.

We couldn't survive without our morning coffee. I've been using Folgers, half caffeine, half regular. and we both love it. Tea occasionally -- for some strange reason I associate tea with not feeling well, or cold weather. But that morning coffee is a MUST!!!!

Coffee. With hazelnut creamer and a little sugar.  In my big SS Elation (Carnival ship, now retired) cup.  And then, the rest of the day I drink only water.

Definitely coffee. In fact, my first post of the day on Facebook this morning was about how good the freshly brewed coffee tasted this morning. Yum! And I take it black, no sweetener.

I typically drink tea at home.  My favourite black tea is Tetley Tea. Very strong with some milk.  I also love flavoured teas and tend to drink them plain without milk or sugar. However, lately I have been adding a little bit of honey to flavoured tea.

I am not a real coffee lover. I love the smell, but am not much for the taste. However, I do drink it on occasion, but I don't go out expressly for coffee, and it's not something I crave, and I can go days, weeks and months between cups.  At home if I feel like a cup, I'll make instant Maxwell House. If I use my coffee maker, I make a flavoured blend (Irish Cream, Chocolate Raspberry or Butter Rum).  At home I add milk. When out because I'm lactose intolerant I drink it black.  The last time I had a cup of coffee was about a month ago, maybe longer.

My mother always asked how anything that smelled that good tasted so foul.

It's coffee for me.  After my DD was born I got to drinking one small cup a day.  I had to cut out caffiene when I got pregnant with DS...but after he came I went to one BIG cup a day!  Some days that isn't enough!

I do love tea though.

Previously it's been coffee, but I seem to have developed a strange intolerance to caffeine... makes my blood sugar all loopy.

So from now on it's water in the morning, or a noncaffeinated Coke. :D

If I had one of my insomnia bouts the night before, I will drink a glass of Diet Pepsi over crushed ice.  Normally,I don't need the caffeine in the morning, though. I usually only have 1/2 of a small glass of orange juice, and Celestial Seasonings Wild Berry tea over ice (for the morning commute--quite refreshing) , then switch to their Red Zinger over ice at work.

I. MUST. HAVE. COFFEE.
This morning, I slept through the alarm...again...and woke up 20 minutes before I had to get ready for work. I don't think I got a full cup in and I could tell. Mornings is the only time I really drink coffee or any caffine though. I need 2 cups in the morning to be completely coherent (although that may just be a mental thing because it could be 2 regular sized cups or 2 of our huge cups.) I do drink tea occasionally, but usually at night when its cold or when I'm not feeling good. I like a little sugar in my hot tea (but not my cold tea) but my coffee, with is usually Folgers, I like hot, black and strong!

LOL, my mom always said the same thing!

Hahahaha!  I thought I was the only one that loved the smell but hate the taste.  I love it when someone makes a fresh pot because I think it smells great but you will never get me to drink it.

I love a cup of tea to get me up and going in the morning but I will only drink it when the weather gets cool.  I can't drink tea in the summer.  Yes I know, I'm strange

I love the smell of coffee....it definitely smells better than it tastes. But I have my cup every morning and can't seem to get going without it.

The only hot tea I drink is Earl Grey. We are big iced tea drinkers and I always have two pitchers of iced tea in the fridge. Rick can't get by without it, even during the winter.
