Chickory Timeline

When did Friskie's change the formula to include chickory.  Isn't that a form of coffee?  My husband sneezes violently sometimes--wonder if it could be the dry cat food?

As far as when friskie's added it, don't know about that.  But I see it in a lot of cat foods and human foods--it is added as a source of fiber.  Sometimes you'll also see "inulin" in food, which is also fiber that I think is derived from chicory.  I think some people call it "coffeeweed",  but it's not actually related to coffee.
