Hi there! We're newbies too!

I'm Allegra, my partners in crime are Sybilla (aka Princess) and Bagheera ( aka Pegleg Fish-Face)

The girls are just barely 2 years old and sisters of the same litter. They are rescue ferals and i've been taking care of them most of their lives. They were born in the parking lot of my work and when they were kittens we fed them. When our building was sold and we had to move to make way for a truck stop i decided to catch them, fix them and bring them home. . . now we're trying to be family. They love playing together and because they're sisters they are constant companions. . . but i wonder if there is room in their lives for me?

Obviously the road to domesticating a feral is a long and frustrating one, so i turned here for help and advice. We live in the same house, but don't quite SHARE it yet. . . any tidbits of help are greatly appreciated. I want to get to know my little roommates better. . . before they plot my demise while i sleep.

Thanks!

My Elsa was a feral and it took her a full six months before I could even pick her up. You would never know it now, but it's been 7 years she's been home. If you're not already doing it, just try non threatening things like sitting on the floor and reading aloud, playing with laser lights and wand toys, and not looking them in the eyes too much (unless it's to do the slow blink.) It will take a while, and some ferals never get really friendly, but some do. And Elsa was over 2 years old when I found her, so I know it's possible. :) Good luck!
