Are there any Foster Cat Parents here?

I need advice on where and how to promote my Foster Cat for adoption.

I'm a new Foster Mom and the shelter I am fostering for isn't doing anything to promote her.

You could post its photo at your vet's office, for one thing.

The best is probably if you talk around in your own networks. Relatives, neighbours, work mates, etc...

There is also Craiglist and other media.  But then you must screen out the serious adoption candidates, from not serious, or not suitable... 

Mr Blanches tip about ad at vets office is good.  Ad at pet shops is also workable.

Is this cat on your little picture this foster?  A somewhat british look alike?  (or sooner Chartreux, but they are rarer).

Do your foster manage children? Dogs? Other cats?  If yes, dont forget to mention it!

What a pretty kitty!! The one in your avatar is your foster? Beautiful. Sometimes the foster family does need to do some work in finding a home along with the shelter. The shelter as so many to find homes for, so they appreciate the foster families efforts. I would do the above mentioned suggestions as well. Put together a "flyer" highlighting all of this kitties positive attributes and a couple of pictures. Pet stores sometimes have bulletin boards for customers with cats for adoption as well. Best of luck in finding this kitty a forever home very, very soon.
