anyone?
About 7 years ago, I went to Sedona, AZ with my mom. She fell in love with this Raku vase and bought it. Over the weekend, it broke while the dogs played.. and she's heartbroken! She loved that vase so much!
I am on the hunt in finding another one, but I can't seem to find it anywhere! I know it's a one of a kind, but I remember seeing a bunch for sale in Sedona. I've even called a few galleries in Sedona and they suggested a local class and see if they can make one. We may do that, but to save time and effort, we want to see if we can find one already done!
My dad is trying to put it back together, but we think it's beyond repair. Just too may pieces!
The artist name on the broken vase is R. Kevin Kelly, and I can't locate him anywhere on the internet.
and here's a pic of a vase similar to it (not the exact vase), made by R.D Cruz (and I can't find him either!)
She loved the pointed bottom and it sits on a wrought iron stand (The stand she still has). The broken vase had a wester desert feel, with turqoise colors.
If anyone from Sedona (or anywhere else) knows what I am talking of and where I can get one.. and is willing to help me in gaining one of these beauties, please let me know! A phone number or website would help too!
I am on a mission to make my mother happy again!
