I am a new member and new mommy to 7 kittens, all born last night, the first at 1:53 am. The second came at 2:37, the third at 3:15, the fourth at 3:58, one at around 4:30 or so, and the last of them when I had finally gone to bed. Any suggestions on how to make sure they all are getting enough to eat? Is it ok to place a small blanket over them so they're warm? Thanks!

Welcome to the site! And congratulations on becoming a Kitty Grandma!
If you aren't a breeder, do you plan on spaying Mama cat once the babies are weaned?

I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' babies, Mrs. Moore! (Bad paraphrase of Gone with the Wind, I know.... LOL ) So anyway, I'm going to move this to the Heath and Nutrition Forum where our more knowledgable members can help you with your baby questions.

sorry, that was Alucard thinking he could type. My fiance's mom was going to get her fixed after the first ones, but she went to Wisconsin, and when she got back mama kitty was in heat again. She was let out, and the rest is kitty-story. So now we have 14 kitties and mama kitty.
