I just picked up two orphan kittens to foster. They are 3 weeks old. The girl has been leaking urine almost constantly. She will dribble when I stimulate as well but not as much as her brother.

She's always wet, even after I have stimulated and dried her off.

Could it just be immaturity or perhaps she wasn't stimulated on a regular basis prior to being brought in. Her mother was supposedly killed on the road..not sure how long before the kittens were brought in.

Anyone experienced this?

Just a quick update. She's on antibiotics. Vet said could be just an infection or she could have an ectopic ureter. :(

If its the latter, she will have to be euthanized. Please send her your prayers.

Fingers crossed it's an infection.  Having looked up 'ectopic ureter' I agree that if that's what she has then pts is kindest.  :(  She is a very cute kitten, love the black spot on her nose.
