Hi all,
So, after 2 years and 29 pregnant cat and kitten fosters I am finally adding foster failure to my resume and keeping one!
He was born here in foster with me and is now 9 weeks old. I named the litter the city/state babies (Jersey, Dakota, Diego, Boston, and Quincy) and have decided to keep Diego. Or, rather, Diego has decided that he's quite comfy here and does not feel the need the relocate.
He has no fear and will climb anything and everything. That said, he is the most affectionate kitten I have ever interacted with. He does this hilarious thing where if you hold him in your hand and flip him on his back and rub his belly he falls asleep. I call it his patented "shark move." He purrs up a storm and loves to snuggle in. He has a big sister, a 2.5 year old torbie named Ella who he loves to give nose kisses to (she surprisingly tolerates it).
So, my kitten dilemma is: do I keep his name Diego or do I change it? Here are some of my favorites thus far:
- Diego
- Atticus
- Avery
- Sawyer
- Mosby
The friends and fam are totally unhelpful, each with their own favorite name. Tell me what you think- I'm open to any of these or any suggestions!
Of course, how can you name a baby without pictures! Try not to fall in love too much!
Okay, I had to add one with big sister Ella. This is their bonding pose!
