I figured I would show off some of my mice, I have owned and bred mice for about 10 years, and I just love them, even if the feelings aren't mutual xD
right now I breed mostly for feeders for the cats, excess newborn mouse pups as well as older excess male pups and older adult mice are humanely culled and given to the cats as whole prey (I feed mostly RAW) I also breed for pets and feeders/breeders to sell to others, and currently have a couple people interested in some of my babies.
I currently have 6 adult females, which are related (mother and 5 daughters from two litters)
These are some of my current babies, these are from three different litters, the oldest litter is 11 days old, the other two litters (born on the same day) are 9 days old and are all brothers/sisters/cousins
the white ones are actually Black eyed whites, which is rare in regular petstore mice, they started popping up once I got my current mature male, there are also chocolates, and blacks in this litter, because these babies are inbred (their father is also their grandfather) I found out that either my older female (the mother) or the male carries satin (shiny fur) because one of them is satin, which I happen to actually not like xD
the baby to the very left in the first and second pic (the black one with the white on the head and the mottled spot of his back, also in the topmost right of picture three) looks just like thier father
these babies are actually getting a lucky break from being cat food (they were too pretty), and the ones I'm not keeping will be going to various new homes in a few weeks as breeders and such O3O
there is another litter of 2 week olds who just opened their eyes, I'll get pictures of them later
