Thursday Question of the Day: 10/4/12

Sorry late, I forgot I was asked to do thursday's QotD! I also took the day off from work and decided to be extremely lazy and watch movies all day.

If you had a day to yourself to do absolutely anything you want to do.. what would you do? No limits!

Since we're retired most of our days are lazy days. For instance, today we went to the gym and then WalMart. How's that for exciting?

Oh boy...that sounds like fantasy land to me!!  A few times my mother has picked up my DD (before DS came along) before her breakfast and I spent the day cleaning.  Like deep cleaning.  It is deffinitley not my favorite way to spend my alone time; but that is how I like to clean if I'm going to do it.  Music up and everything.  I'm most productive straight out of bed with that stuff.  If I stop to eat or shower first I get distracted and it all goes out the window... lol

What I REALLY would want to do is relax and read.  Maybe some window shopping too; also at a leisurely pace.  If the weather is good I would enjoy that from my back yard; I just need a hammock!  Otherwise it's inside, on the couch with a big blanket and a few pillows.  Kitties too of course.

Now that sounds like a good day!  Once in a while.  I'd miss my kids for sure; but every now and then mama needs time to herself.

Seriously with the way things are around here right now, I just want to flop on the couch with three good books, the DVDs from last season of Supernatural, a 2-liter bottle of regular Pepsi, a bag of peanut M & Ms, and a pizza (don't care what kind of pizza). For one entire day. No cats, no worries, no nothing.

I would love to be in our capitol where the archives are and work all day doing genealogy.
