Hi guys

I've got an ear question.  Let me just start by saying I'm going to call my vet tomorrow, but it's 4:30am right now, and I can't sleep.
A couple days ago Dynah started scratching her ear/tilting her head/squishing her ear down/shaking her head.  She has only done it twice in front of me over the last week, but when she does it it's for a period of about 10 mins (not constant - she might scratch/shake 5 times and have her head/ear tilted between).

So after the first time I've been keeping my eye on her.  She did it again tonight (second time).

I checked her ear pretty thoroughly and I don't see any redness, scratches, black patches, ear wax, oozing of any colour, etc.  It looks like a normal healthy cat ear, aside from the fact that she seems sensitive to it.  I tried rubbing her ears about half an hour after looking in there, and she gave me a dirty look and ran away- not typical.

Sooo...from what I can tell it's probably allergies (we changed her food about 3 weeks ago) or some kind of inner ear infection.

Just was wondering if anyone had any thoughts.  Her behaviours otherwise seem to be pretty normal.  She's eating, playing, cuddling, etc. Her cuddling might be down tonight, but then I might also be sensitive because I'm concerned, and she's certainly not avoiding me.

Thoughts?\

THANKS!
