my cat's meow is weak..

I was wondering if anyone had this problem before..

my 12 year old cat's meow is weak and somewhat crackly. I took her to the vet, did a blood test which came out with everything normal, took xrays, a sedated oral and a laryngeal exam but still everything came out normal.

the doctor suggested to just watch and see if her conditions get worse..

I should point out she otherwise behave normaly, runs around, eats, uses the litter box..etc.  only her voice has changed.

has anyone encountered this before? if so how or what was the outcome if any? or what I should expect?

Did your vet check her thyroid? And her blood pressure?

yeah the thyroid was part of the blood test..nothing!  not sure about the blood pressure though. I have to check
