Rose does not love me :( .........

I thought she loved me. Every morning and every night she's all up in my face and just loving on me. Constant kisses. Then I realized something.

A half hour ago I brushed my teeth. Rose was all over me. As soon as I try to talk she sticks her face in my mouth. Sniffs at my breath and gets all blissed out. Purring like crazy. Never knew my toothpaste smelled like Tuna while tasting like mint. 

So I realized the mega love only comes after I brush my teeth morning and night

She only loves me for my toothpaste. lol

Lucky always loves me up when I get out of the hot tub.

That's like saying your significant other doesn't love you, s/he just loves that you're so hot and irresistible.

Seriously, your cat wouldn't get right up in your face to sniff your toothpaste if she didn't like being close to you! No matter how irresistible a smell, cats don't get within arm's reach unless they feel comfortable around you, and this one evidently does.

LOL!  Mooch goes nuts for a wet pony tail...  Cats are weird sometimes! LOL

Yeah, my cat Tiny is always sniffing my breath. Maybe he wants to see what I've eaten lately?

Mint is a close relative of catnip.  Rose may think you are holding out on her and eating HER nip.  Mine are always sniffing to see if I have been eating something they like.

LMAO!! My cats Mischief and Tinkerbell nipped at me when they saw me eating Hot Rods. I swear they're addicted to them. They got a piece once and every time they see a package they go nuts. Mischief wont stop smelling my lips now. lol

Never try to figure out cats.  They do their own thing.  Years ago, our cat Speedboat would lay on the back of the chair my dad was sitting in.  He would spend dad's entire visit licking his hair.  It was the Vitalis dad used to comb his hair with.  Then my cat Max would go nuts over the stuff you rub on for muscle aches. Something about the scent of it made him "romantic", for lack of a better word.
 

She may love the toothpaste but she loves you as well. My Rainbow Bridge kitty, Ali, loved me most of all after a shower when I had powder on me or when I put perfume on. She loved me, but she loved the after bath powder and perfume also. I guess we can never figure out a cat's mind --- that's why they're so special!

The main ingredient in muscle rub is menthol.  Another mint product.  My RB cat Bear hated the smell of menthol.  She would hiss, growl and try to swat my mother when Mother had the rub on.

When I lay down at night, Dusty comes up and gives me kisses on my arm. But she loves to lick my underarms! I think it must be the deodorant. I have to cover up since I don't think it would be to good for her.
