Ello From NC

Ello all,

Let me introduce myself.

My names Brittany, I am 21 yrs old.  I have  2 cats at the moment. The oldest being a snowshoe named hatter who will be 2 sometime in November. The other is a 4 month old orange tabby cat. They are both rescues with a happy ending. I also have a horse, 3 turtles, and a dog.

A little info about myself: I love all animals, Big or small. I am very strange, I love all thing weird and unique. Love poetry and writing. Currently a college student in school for nursing. Sadly I am allergic to my animals and must take allergy shots twice a week to be around them but its something I have chosen to do because my Animals are my four legged kids.

Hope to make a few new friends on here and maybe learn some new information on the mysterious creatures called cats <3

A little cool fact about myself is I am half deaf in both ears, or as commonly known hard of hearing.

Welcome! I'm actually new, too, and just posted my own introduction....I am a snowshoe owner like you

I am also allergic to cats and get shots to manage it. I told my allergist that I had no intentions of getting rid of my cats, and that I will gladly sacrifice the inconvenience of having to go get shots every week!

Thanks for welcome guys! I told my allergist the same thing when they mentioned me getting rid of my animals. I was like uhhh... No thank you. lol Looking forward to chatting sometime!

  Hi Brittany & welcome to TCS!  Not sure where in NC you are, but I'm in Wilmington. I also write poetry!  (well, it's been a while, but I'm 43, & have written them sense I was 12, 0r 13.)

The last time I counted (finally put them on the computer) I had 175!

Hi, welcome to TCS!  I am also in NC. 

 Looks like we have a NC chapter of TCS members here.      I'd love to know what area everyone is in, if you don't mind, that is.  If close enough, it would be nice to all meet sometime.

I'm in southeast Charlotte.

I have no idea where Wilmington is.... I've only been in the area for a little over 4 years now (moved here from Philly, PA)....I know it's been long enough that I should know more about the area than I do, but I stil play the "new to the area" card a lot of times LOL!

Oh, and I am 38, so NOT a poet (I'm more of a designer, it's what I do by day) and you can call me Maggie

Maggie, we are about 4 hours away from each other, so unfortunately, not very close.    Oh well.    Oh, Wilmington is right on the coast.  (about an hour & 1/2 from Myrtle Beach).
