Many do from time-to-time. Are you looking for treatment help?
Some use pumpkin added to wet food in varying amounts. For some kitties, a teaspoon a day helps. For others, it can take up to three tablespoons. It all depends on the cat and the situation, whether you're trying to help a cat move a "plug," or whether it's for maintenance. But it's a safe fiber that helps regulate the amount of water in the colon, and helps with either constipation or diarrhea.
In some situations, slipper elm bark powder may be better. 1/4 teaspoon mixed with 1/4 teaspoon aloe vera juice, allowed to gel, and then mixed in with the food twice a day helps coat the intestines and provides fiber.
Other people use miralax, which helps draw water into the colon, I think. I don't remember the dose offhand.
