Thank you, everyone, for all of your kind words last week. He got through the bladder surgery, and there is NO cancer there!!!!
He's doing very well; they discharged him that day--almost a week ago now.
Now, tomorrow, the cancerous kidney will be removed. He's looking forward to this--he just wants the thing OUT ASAP. They think, despite his age, that his right kidney works fine on its own, which is a wonderful thing.
