As some of you know I am the mommy to Emma my almost one and a half year old tortilla ... I was recently asked to temporarily house a male cat however he is older so we will see how the territory issues go but my main concern is diet he has his and she has hers with him not being my cat I can not switch him and his diet is lower quality so I refuse to switch Emma to it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated we pick him up this weekend

Is the problem that the cats are free fed? Because the solution would be to stop free feeding. I know it's not ideal, but if you don't want your cats eating his diet, and you can't switch him, it seems the only logical solution - timed feedings. :dk:
