My pregnant cat has been sick and a little off her food.

Hi all.

4 weeks ago i rescued a pregnant cat from a horrible "pet shop" here in the middle east.  I had the vet check her straight away and apart from being completely malnourished and in need of some TLC she was ok.  I got told by the pet shop she was pregnant as i was walking out so now guestimate she must be at least 8 weeks along.  i can see little droplets of milk on her nipples and since she is a tiny skinny cat you can see her big belly well now. I can feel little popping/rolling movements now.  My worry is that she has been sick twice thismorning and she did a poo in the corner of our sitting room where she is normally completely litter tray trained and she always has a completely clean tray.  Should i call the vets? she seems ok in herself.. very sleepy but she has been for ages. She will be spayed as soon as allowed!  thanks in advance! 

She could be close to going into labour, but phoning the vets might put your mind at rest.

i will see how she goes, she hasn't been sick since this morning and is eating a wee bit more. thank you.  I'm all prepared - i think! 

sickness is common early in pregnancy, not so in later stages. Combined with the messing outside the box, I'd also be calling the vet. Sleepiness also isn't really normal.  They will rest more in the very last stages of pregnancy but you mentioned it's been going on for a while.
