Flea Problem

My indoor/outdoor long hair cat is constantly biting & scratching.
I use Advantage but it didn't work so I tried Frontline but it doesn't
seem to be working either. He has flea dirt still but I see no actual fleas.
I've given him a bath as well which gave some relief for a short time.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Capstar. Then apply a spot-on. . .if the others aren't working, try Revolution (you have to get it from the vet). But I always give Capstar before applying any topical.

You only see fleas if there is a big, big problem.  However you almost certainly have lots of eggs, larvae and pupae in the house which need dealing with.  This is a UK link but you can probably find most of the products in the US - check what the active ingredients are:
