Huh, that's weird! Bijou does the same things, especially with the fishing toys we have she carries it around and cries, we thought it was because she missed her sister. She clings to it for dear life. it's cute.

You're cat is beautiful as well, I really love the beige/tan coloring! Is the cat in your avatar a tabby or Bengal?

Cinnamon is tabby and calico mix I believe, she is definitely the color of her name. She has the big m thing on her forehead and stripes along with smattering of orange and grey. She`s also the dominate of our 3 cats and somewhat of bully. We have spoiled her rotten and she is a good lap cat.She will climb up on us during the middle of the night and give is a 4 legged massage before lying down next to us in bed.

We got cinnamon about 8 years ago and she was the only cat,She had a partner friend but unfortunately they got separated.Cinnamon grieved over the loss of her partner for the longest time.A decision I regret I had a choice to take her and  and her sister.but at the time I only wanted 1 cat.About a year later we adopted chirpers and the two became best buddies in no time.I should have stopped at 2 cats but a few months later I seen this beautiful marble tabby I just had to have.I believe cause of his markings he also was part Bengal..Unfortunately he got kidney stones and died..So along came lover girl almost a identical twin of the 3rd cat we had whos name was copperSo our 4 cat lovergirl and cinnamon didn't hit off to well.and his declawed. She stood her ground though and slapped boxed cinnamon letting her know hey you may be the queen but I got live with you. They get along pretty good now and even sleep next to each other butt to butt.Shes very large and loves to play with chirpers.Shes also a very loyal and was formerly an outside cat that was infested with worms.I think that's why her po gave her away.I have an aquaiuntance who comes up and fishes with my and gave her a shot to kill the worms.Lovergirl soon grew quite large and weighs 21lbs now..

Anyways that's for your compiments on our 3 girls they are the best companions.

Oh no! Sounds like it probably really stressed her out! You gotta take care of them, like babies, if you're going to have them. Right? Speaking of Bengals? are they high maintenance and did you ever take her out on walks?

My Bengal was very inquisitive and curious about everything. No she didn't get to go for walks when I had her.She pulled a good trick on me once.I thought that she had escaped and looked for her everywhere.Later I looked in the cabinet to grab a plate and there she was all curled up on the plates inside the cabinate.I was always working then to make a long story short a series of events happened leaving me homeless with a broken leg to boot..I ended up rehoming her.I  walk all of our 3 cats that we have now on leash when the weather is warm enough. All 3 of them are leashed trained and walk just like dog on a leash.Previously with all my other cats I has I never had thought to try that.My cats that I have now have showed me how inteligent cats are and how they can be easily taught things.I have pics of her when I find them I`ll upload to share she was a beautiful cat.

We adopted our baby back in August. He is almost 6 months old now, and we also think he may be part Bengal. He is extremely long and lean, his back legs are longer than the front, he's obsessed with water to the point where he jumps in the shower with us, he's always on the move (jumping, climbing, knocking stuff over, following us everywhere/being involved in everything we're doing) and is extremely smart and vocal. He also has the prominent whisker pads, rounded ears and unique colorings.

What do you experts think? This is Einstein...

I was told by my vet that my girl is Bengal. We had her Spayed and they were thrilled to see her as they don't get many in the office. She is feisty, chirrips non stop! Yes, she has to have things just so. I've never had a cat before.. When I found her under a car as a kitten I couldn't look away :-) I love how vocal she is! She loves heights.. Really high! She hasn't been around running water but she tells me when the water bowl is getting low. I find it adorable! She's independent till its bed time then she cuddles up at my feet on the covers. I've researched Bengals and she has all the traits! Her coat is super soft like a rabbit and shimmers in the light. She is turning more brown as she ages. I just love this kitty! Had to share :-)

I was wondering if anyone knows what type off cat this little boy could be ?? I think tabby my sister thinks his got Bengal in him ?? Thanks
I think he is spotted tabby, its not just broken mackerel - which sometimes looks almost as spotted.

If he is a pet qualtiy bengal we cant know, probalby not.   If you see a bengal, usually you know its a bengal..  I mean, technically they are tabbies them too, but they are so refined, so purebred best of the best, its seldom any hesitation.

That is at least my thought.  Do get a second opinion before you sell out your shares in this kitten as bengal... :)

My two cats, brother and sister, look exactly like the two lying together in your photo.  Are they bengal's?  My vet even asked me and I had to say no based on a lot of info on this site.  They have such personalities like no other cats I've owned.

Thanks for the pictures.

Here are more pictures
Nice mackerel tabby!  As seen on the stripes on his body.   The spots on the belly really dont count, they are rather common on mackerel and classic tabbies.

Bengals are either spotted tabbies, with very refined spots - "rosettes", or very handsome classic tabby - usually they use the synonyme marbled bengal - very nicely defined.

This is my DSH Kitty, she was sold to us as half Bengal. She initially looked like she could pass for one but when we brought her to the vet they said she was just a DSH cat. I don't care as we love her regardless and she is a joy to be around. But do all tabby's have spotted bellies?

Oh wow, all
such beautiful cats. Was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a classic tabby or Bengal mix? She is my 7month old kitten, however a cat rescuer friend saw her and thinks she may be a Bengal mix. Would love your opinions. She doesn't meow much, but has loads of trills in the morning. The vet identified her as a domestic short haired tabby/white on her paperwork, so just want to be sure that's what she is.
Thank you xox

Domestic classic tabby with white, yes,  but I myself think she may have some bengal ancestry anyways. Her marbles are sooner of the marbled bengals type than the usual classic tabby bulls-eye pattern.   Also the black and shiny silvery white.    I think she may have a granddad whom was a marbled bengal.

marbled bengal is really a refined classic tabby pattern - but in bengals its always mentioned as marbled, never classic tabby.  That gene is dominant, and thus, children  tend to get it too, although it detoriates for every next generation from that refined bengal type into more common classic tabby.

This is Gus. I don't know that Gus is part Bengal, but he acts very much like one. Gus talks, chirps, and meows constantly. He tells us when the bowl is "empty", "helps" clean the litter box, has been known to turn on a faucet, watches during baths and showers. Actually, he takes an active role in baths. He will play with the wate and bubbles. If he hears the water turned on. He's there. He has to "help" shave and brush teeth. He loves to play laser and demands it LOUDLY every night. He tears through the house like a maniac, has an obsession with bags and boxes, stomps through the house when he's mad. He has quite an attitude!Gus was rescued as a kitten and we bottle fed him. He has been here ever since and is the young prince.
