My sister says that in the /Black And White cats only the males are called Tuxedos and the females are just called Black And White. Is this really true?
:lol3: I think males and females are tuxedos because it is just a made up description to describe their color and markings. Even though girls don't wear tuxedos!!! :lol3:Well, since it's kind of a made-up term, I guess we can make it mean anything we want :tongue2:.
Ellen does!:lol3: I think males and females are tuxedos because it is just a made up description to describe their color and markings. Even though girls don't wear tuxedos!!! :lol3:
My sister says that the woman who handled the adoption told her this.Hmm, does your sis have a source for that info?
Wikipedia says nothing of the sort, and a quick search on Google turns up nothing. I'm no expert on coat pattern names butI can't imagine it's true... I mean it's the same coat pattern, not like calico where the exact coat type only appears in one gender. We always called Tohey a tuxedo and she's female.
