I rescued a feral kitten back in January. Perrie (the cat) is now between 11-16 months old. When I rescued her she stayed under my bed for the first month only to come out at night. Since then she has become joint to my hip and will not leave my side for a second. Perrie isn't as confident with my family as she is with me, hence stalling the vets. I went away for my travels leaving perrie with the family (who she is now fine with) I gave my family STRICT rules not to let her out, but they did. up until this point she was always an indoor cat. When I got home 2 weeks ago I picked her up and noticed her nipples were bigger and she had a prominent bump. I took her to the vets straight away (where she behaved like a dream, I had a proud mother moment) , the vet confirmed she was pregnant, but couldn't put a number on how far gone she was, but agreed with me it was between 5-7 weeks (that was on the 10th of September). For the last two weeks i have been researching and reading up alot about the whole birthing process and stages of pregnancy, but there's a Few things I'm not concerned, but wanting to know more on...
1) she hasn't nested
2) she's very lazy, just sleeping and getting up to use the litter/eat/drink
3) I gave her kitten milk, thinking that might perk her up, but now she's having diariha. (one had tiny amount of blood in) would that be because of the milk?
4)she stopped eating and drinking yesterday and the day before, but ate and drank this morning.
5) we found stains 3-4 days ago where she has leaked milk, but I can't squeeze any out?
6) her nipples are flaking
7) she's being grumpy, and none affectionate. She's meowing if I try to pick her up, or thrashes her tale when I try to give her some fuss.

I just want her to be ok, and back to her old self. I miss her.

I phoned the vets and they weren't concerned but offered to look at her. But some of you might know a heavily pregnant grumpy cat isn't the easiest of things to put in a cat travel box.

My cats health and well being comes first so please any advice or info will be much appreciated

I am booking her in tommorow though.

And yes she will be spayed after these kittens are born.

The things you are asking about are all typical pregnant cat things

1) she hasn't nested

some cats don't right until RIGHT at the moment of labor, or at all, particularly young/first time mothers, I had a farm cat who didn't nest at all her first litter, but instead randomly dropped them in a soggy cardboard box way out in the middle of the horse paddock o3o

I have a cat currently who is pregnant and hasn't shown signs of nesting yet either, and she's within the last week of her pregnancy

2) she's very lazy, just sleeping and getting up to use the litter/eat/drink

well, it's kinda heavy xD, carrying all those little things inside her o3o, being lazy is also comes with the last few weeks of pregnancy

3) I gave her kitten milk, thinking that might perk her up, but now she's having diariha. (one had tiny amount of blood in) would that be because of the milk?

Could be, something different in her stomach, and the fact that pregnant cats usually have loose stools anyway.

4)she stopped eating and drinking yesterday and the day before, but ate and drank this morning.

That's also typical, my cat does the same thing, one day she's starving, all day, the next she's like "meh", cravings too o3o my cat used to barely eat dry food, thus why I feed RAW, but I keep dry around incase I need to go somewhere longer than a couple hours so relatives can feed the cats, ,my pregnant cat has been chowing down in the dry food alot over the last few days

5) we found stains 3-4 days ago where she has leaked milk, but I can't squeeze any out?

I'm not sure about that one, I do know pregnant momma's nipples will leak, but the first milk she will produce is colostrum, which there isn't alot of

6) her nipples are flaking

they will do that, I think it's part of them growing

7) she's being grumpy, and none affectionate. She's meowing if I try to pick her up, or thrashes her tale when I try to give her some fuss.

..it's probably uncomfortable for her to be messed with, especially being picked up, my cats is getting grouchy as well, she hates he touching her belly, but I love feeling the babies move
