Hello everyone, I ordered a case of wellness from 1-800-petmeds, I've opened up 3 cans so far and they look sucked in. The 3 cans I've opened are more moist then store bought, the fatty juices (gravy?) are on the lid of store bought on these it's on the bottom of the can and watery. By sucked in I mean that the food isn't a perfect circle, it's not fitted/packed in the can. Princess is eating it. Has anyone else gotten can food like this? Thank in advance.

Hm. I would smell the store bought one and the Pet Meds bought one (ew, I know :lol3:) and compare the difference. If they smell the same, it should be okay. I haven't heard anything like this before, though...I buy cat food online, but from Amazon. They often have good prices for grain free foods for my ferals, occasionally.

Different batches turn out different. . .maybe that batch is even from a different manufacturing plant than the ones you get at the store. I wouldn't worry about it unless it smells "off".

l have Wellness too, and mine looks the same way - as if the meat doesn't fit the can.

The cats are still here so mine was okay :)

Good question though, as some other types of food do actually fill the can completely.

It's normal :) I feed my cat Wellness occasionally and that is how it appeared to me too!
