What are you feeding them? Please indicate if the food is wet or dry. I'm just curious. I'm not a big fan of the rx foods but I do feed some to my cat because he has a huge appetite but he is super picky so I rotate a bunch of foods. I include some of the rx foods because he'll eat them. He won't eat two cans of the same food in a row, sometimes he won't tolerate the second half of the can (he gets 1/2 can three times a day). But he'll beg and beg....until I find him one he hasn't eaten in a while. So I was wondering what you feed and if you feed the rx foods....Schweppie is in IRIS stage 3 which I think is pretty advanced but so far he is only on a phosphorus binder and famotidine along with subq fluids. Thank you in advance for your responses!

Candy was diagnosed with CRF, but she sadly had to be sent to the Bridge because she also was suffering from renal lymphoma. If Candy was still with us, she would be on a raw diet. In case you aren't ready for that, here is a great resource on CRF feeding: http://www.felinecrf.org/which_foods.htm. Since you don't want to feed prescription foods, scroll down to the commercial non-prescription food section. ;)
