Everybody gots fears, yo, so what are you afraid of? O3O

I am probably one of the biggest wuss when it comes to certain things, very little realistic things scare, but anything that is in the realm of the paranormal, I am terrified of, ofcourse I'm scared of other things too xD

Mirrors: I HATE mirrors, with a passion, I don't know why but I always have. Ofcourse the whole "bloody Mary" thing we used to talk about as kids didn't help, that's actually one thing I never did, my grandmother also had a thing about mirrors and yeah, just yeah. Thus why there are NO mirrors in my room, I can't even look into a mirror without getting freaked out, because I'm always afraid I won't be the one looking back at me.

The dark: yes, I admit it, I am almost 23 years old and STILL afraid of the dark o3o can't help it, thars thangs in that there dark!, I sleep with my tv on, and if I wake up in pitch darkness I freak out.

Those static-y channels on the tv: I probably have poltergeist (or whatever that movie was "come into the light, carol ann")  you know? to thank for that, but especially at night, if I flip on a channel with that static, I flip it back post haste, ofcourse my grandmother used to say that that's how spirits got to and from the living world u_u

Really big fish: not sharks, those I'm ok with, sharks are cool, I'm talking really BIG honkin fish xD, like groupers for example, or tarpin, or even some cat fish, ever watch River monsters? fish like that that grow HUGE, it just freaks it out O3O.

And finally deep water:Well, that's pretty much explanitory, I nearly drown when I was little, that and the fact that I'm not the worlds best swimmer..I don't float, I sink..like a rock, so any water I can't touch the bottom in, I don't like

OH WAIT!, I forgot freakin CLOWNS!: one word, UGH...I HATE clowns, how anybody finds them funny, I don't know, that movie "It" certainly did not help, but oh my glob..that and Ronald Mc.donald...what the hecks? o3o...I bit a clown once, when I was 6...broke the skin with my sharp little kid teeth xD

I wouldn't call it "afraid", but biggest fear is my loved ones dying, I've already lost my beloved sister and my father, don't know if I could handle losing my daughter or husband, I can't even think about that.

My biggest fear is what will happen to my cats if something happens to me.

I am also afraid of elephants.. no idea, I think they're beautiful creatures, but I can't get close to one!

I also don't like slugs or roaches. ugh!

Since I became a mom 2 weeks ago, I am afraid of anything happening to my daughter. Pretty sure that's a normal fear though.

I'm terrified of centipedes. They are just so disgusting and move so fast.

3  major things:

1.  Fire

2.  Getting lost

3.  Water

I think I might be afraid of the dark a little bit too.  The country where it's pitch dark freaks me out.  And I love, love, love living in the heart of downtown with all of the noise and lights.

-Thunderstorms
-Needles

-Heights (including being picked up)
-Fire

-Being a car that's speeding, although I am a nervous passenger anyway.
-Spiders

Centipedes. They're disgusting and FAST and they bite. I don't mind millipedes much, because they're just slow little herbivores that want to be left on their own, but centipedes give me the willies. Also leeches. We have them here in Florida... you don't usually see them, but this one time a sewer(?) hatch started to overflow on our street, and they all came crawling out of the ditches to try to get away. Took me months to be able to walk outside in sandals/bare feet again, I was so grossed out.

Mostly I tend to be concerned about my health. Given how frequently my father was in and out of the ER all while I was growing up, it doesn't surprise me that hospitals, syringes, and really most medical topics give me the willies something awful. My body also tends to do weird things which aren't actually harmful, are uncommon enough that I can't easily figure out what's going on, and resemble real problems. This includes exosteosis(?), which makes my upper gums shaped like ( |     | ) when they should be shaped like | |     | |. I've had X-rays and everything and know it's harmless, but it's one of those things that looks like it must be something pretty dire. Or the lymph node under one arm that felt uncannily similar to a tumor, but is also completely normal for a select number of people.

Lately I've been trying to deal with the fact that my toenails turn purple when I'm inactive for a while. It used to be that on my big toe the nail would get so dark it looked like it was really badly bruised. I've started taking vitamins which have helped a lot (I already had a suspicion I wasn't getting enough iron), so now it only looks half as bad at its worst, and I'm hoping with more exercise it will stop altogether and I'll be able to add it to the list of things that no longer bother me. Hopefully!

RODENTS!!!!!!
Mice, rats, bats and anything that resembles them totally freaks me out.  Years ago, my son's teacher gave him a hamester to take home and care for over the summer.  I couln't stand the thought of that animal living in our home, so it spent the next few months living in the enclosed front porch.

Also, I afraid of wild bears that might be wandering around in town.  Sometimes bears come down from northern MN, and we have occasional sightings. And a few years ago we actually had one in town that came within a few yards of my house.

Skunks.  I have a fear of accidently encountering one and getting sprayed while i'm walking to work in the dark of early morning.

OMG that is too funny because I cannot look into a mirror in the dark, at night. I have to turn on the light. Same thing as a kid - that darn bloody Mary scare.

I am terrified of ticks.... yep. Absolutely, freak. Yep - that's it... just those things....

Bats aren't rodents =O

but seriously, I totally agree on the hamsters, I hate them, mice and rats are awesome though, I breed mice currently and I used to breed rats, rats are just like tiny little whiskery dogs xD

Feralvr, I dunno is bloody mary thing is real or not, but I never have and never will try it, one of my friends once told me that when he was looking into the mirror, he turned his head and he swears his reflection didn't follow him T-T and just kept staring at him =O, my cousins told me once that her reflection had brown eyes...her eyes are blue =I

ticks = one word: UGH x_x hate them, plus they carry lime desease

Ok, so that was 7 words xD

I'm surprised bats aren't  rodents.  I always thought they were a lot like mice but with wings.  So exactly what are bats???

Rodents are in the order Rodentia and bats, Chrioptera. I think people get confused because "bat" means "mouse" or "flying mouse" in some languages.
