my 4monthish year old had his wormer yesterday. he was still his perky yet attension needing self as usual, i had been worried cause the last time he had been poorly on it with upset tummy and a rushedvets trip that cost £55 for the information i already knew. today hes been off his food and rather latharic. also very mewly when his tummy is touched. hes still purring when fussed but not interested in food. im hoping its just the wormer giving him porly tummy cause sadly it would ost e around £100 at this time for a vet to turn around and tell me it was nothing to worry about. but after googling it im getting worried andhypercondriacting for him. my room mate said notto worry unless hes the samein the morn. he seems to of perkedup a little...

Sadly it turned out to be alot more serious. Come morning he still seemed tender so due to me and my housemate being at work all day i took him to my mothers so she could keep an eye on him i taught he had perked up seeing he drank a bit of water at hers and explored he even peed on her door mat. She called me later saying she had to leave him with the vet as he became very weak. He was so dehydrated his kidney and liver were starting to fail and he had high level of potassium in his blood. Hes on a drip and being kept at the vets for now. I am praying after this i have my kitten with me. I have seen him and though weak he seems more responsive then he was. Will know more tomorrow.

good news pounce has shocked the vets by bouncing back from lookinglike he wasnt going to make it to being the terror of the surgery. when vets came to work in the morning they were greating with pounce ssitting up and loudlyprotesting about how late breakfast was. he proceeded to demand cuddles. tests showed largeimprovements and hegot stronger throughouthe day. also greedieras it was clear a missed day of food was not allowed to happen twice. he even knocked overhe water tray in a stroop when he was ignored. i went to see him in theevening and he looked so much better even making escape attempts. he has to stay tonight but hopefully he will be home tomorrow. this has been a asty few days.

the vetthinksthe causeof this is either a poison or possibly a rare reaction to the wormer. but thank you for the surpport and hopefully my baby will be back tomorrow.
