It usually takes about 3-4 months for the homestudy and checks to be done. With my son our adoption worker sped it up. It took about 5 weeks. Then we had go and spend 10 days bonding with him. We have the same worker, she will like just update our homestudy. She already has the last one. Getting M here and how many visits will depend on M's worker. The longest part is usually waiting to be matched with a child.


We filed all the paperwork today :clap:

M has a new worker. She is really nice. She is arranging for M to come for Thanksgiving. Canadian Thanksgiving is October 8 th. I will see her soon   YAY

Well we got the news today    We are adopting Meghan
She is comeing next friday for a week long visit, and she will be moving here in July. She wants to finish the school year where she is.

 Meghan when she came in December. getting kisses from Victor

Thank you everyone. We are so happy. I talked to Meghan yesterday, I asked her how she felt now that the decision has been made. She said she feel so relieved and peaceful. I can't wait until she comes next friday. Meghan will be here for a week for spring break.
