I had an awful dream last night.

I dreamt I came home from work.. and I saw a huge lump, size of a golf ball, on Cassie's neck. In addition, she had lost most of her fur, had scabs and puss all over her body. It looked like a really horrible mange infection.

The worst part was, I could not get in touch with a vet, and when I did, they couldn't take Cassie in, even for emergencies! I must've called about 10 vets in this dream with no help.. gosh I was panicking in the dream!

It seemed SO real, that when I woke up the first thing I did was dig Cassie out from under the sheets and make sure she's OK (sure, she wasn't happy about me waking her from her comfortable spot at my feet!). I was so relieved to see she was normal and safe!

Make this lingering dream go away!! I can't get it out of my mind!!

I've had dreams like that, they fade pretty quickly; however, it may help you feel better if you bring Cassie to the vet for a quick once over. I believe our subconscious minds often notice things that our conscious minds miss. At any rate, it can't hurt. I just took a look at her album; she is adorable!

I had a terrible dream about Esme shortly before one of vet visits, but once she made it to the vet for her checkup, I was relieved to find out she was ok. She didn't have any symptoms or anything, it was more of just a general worry and not wanting anything terrible to happen to my sweethearts!

Cassie was just at the vets for her routine checkup. All's well!

I guess I just worry anyway!

Glad Cassie checked out ok at the vet. I'm sorry about your dream and I can imagine how scared you were.

So glad it was just a dream!

I had a dream over the weekend that has stuck with me.  I was in my apartment just living my life like normal, and I was playing with my cats.  Only instead of 3 cats, there were 4 of them!  When I woke up, there were 3 cats in my bedroom, either on the floor on on my bed, and I sat up in a panic looking for the 4th one! I was so spooked by the dream that when I woke up I didn't know if it was a dream or not, and couldn't remember if I had 3 or 4 cats. I actually ran around the apartment looking for a 4th cat.

The funny thing is that I don't exactly recall the colour of the cat in my dream, or if it was male. I think it was a Tuxie, but I can't remember for sure.

Before anyone says it's a sign that I am getting another cat. The answer is absolutely no. I have 3 which is hard enough to care for and I'm 3 above what is allowed in my building!  Catching and carting 3 to the vet for appointments or boarding is proving to not be very easy!  LOL

But I still am haunted by that dream. Weird.
