Hi, welcome to TCS!
It's nice to meet you.  Our oldest cat is Buster.  Since he came to us as an adult and was a stray, I am not sure of his exact age.  I believe he is around 20 years old.

I guess Silly would barely qualify as a senior cat.  She is 12 1/2.   There are pictures and (had to stop for a minute to throw Sugar's mousie to her) profile on several threads of mine.

Welcome to TCS.

My vet said to start my 2 on senior food since they are 7 now.  I wonder if it's one of those things that it depends on what vet or professional you ask!  My 2 are littermates.  Mooch is a black and white tuxedo also and Noodles is gray.  In certain lights you can just make out a tabby pattern to both of their coats.  Mooch's has a red tint and Noodles its in shades of gray.

We plan on starting Jake on senior food next week. My one cat Gizmo, who just passed away was gray. My cat Jake is a tuxedo.

Hi, my cat Puba turned 18 this week.  He is on thryroid meds and liver support supplements but he is otherwise just himself.  I can't get him interested in playing with his toys anymore.  He still loves "nesting" in new paperbags, boxes and piles of paper that have been left temporarily on the floor though.

I had a vet suggest the same thing to me when my cat was around the age of 7.  It makes me wonder if indeed that is the reason why my cat who is 18 now is still with me and for the most part going strong.  He happens to be the runt of his litter.

Hi, I am new to this site, but probably overdue. I have 7 cats indoor and have just rescued a tuxedo mama and her  new born kitten they are identical! I have two senior cats , Baba and Sissy , both have health issues. Sissy is a renal failure cat going on 2 yrs and doing great , we know this cause she is fat! Baba is overweight too , and gorges his food and has an intestinal problem. I am not a cat horder , the tuxedos need a home . I have alot of experience feel free to ask
