I found a cat at my sons school we were told we could take her home because she is always hanging around. I took her home no problems at all but i found her to be over frenziedly to be a stray...She is no desexed as there is no tattoo on the ear. I noticed she sleeps alot and eats alot and does really want to do anything else but shes very affectionate. I had a odd felling she might have been pregnant but i felt her stomach and felt big. I noticed her nipples were sticking out and they are think kind of white with a little pink but not much at all.she does not like to be held i guess im hurting her stomach i am not sure, You try to touch her stomach towards the end were the tail is and she does not like it even if there is no pressure being there, I want to know how i can tell i have read nipples have to be pink etc but can they be site and white stick out? Her nipples are and pointy. I have had her for about 4 days now. Also she is very fluffy so its hard to tell really

It's always a pretty safe bet that if you have an unsexed female cat outside then she is pregnant. From what you are describing it sounds like she is.

How far along is she? That's almost impossible to wager unless you know exactly when she mated. The average cat gestation is 65 days so bear that in mind. If you can see/feel kittens moving she is likely within 2 weeks of delivery.

Read some of the older posts on here for a lot more information on pregnancy and labor. I would try to get her into a vet ASAP not only to try to find out if she is pregnant but also just for a wellness check to make sure she doesn't have fleas or other illnesses.

Thank you for rescuing her! Don't hesitate to ask follow up questions. Welcome to TCS!

Her being very friendly is partly a way to please herself in...  They know that it is their best way to be saved...  Her sleeping a lot is also typical - the tension is over now, NOW she do affords to rest, to sleep as deep as she pleases.  Many cats dont like to be touched on the tummy.  It is correct if they do tatto it is often when they are anyway sleeping for spaying. But tattoo is not given standard...

So, you do have some indicies but no real proofs.

The only safe way is to visit a vet. Which you should do anyway for a check up. this is always recommended when adopting a new cat, stray or bough. Like EB24 recommends too.

Tx for helping this dumped/astray girl!

Good luck!

She is no desexed as there is no tattoo on the ear.
I wouldn't rely on that, not everyone tattoo's when desexing.  She could be someone's lost pet, though it does sound like she is pregnant. Take her to the vets, if she's not too far along she can be desexed now and not have to have kittens, she'll need to be flea checked and wormed too.
