I went to a wedding just over a week ago. Letting my hair down really isn't much different than the "normal" me. The biggest change was getting dressed up with DH and going out without the kids! I had 1 glass of wine and that was it. We left early because it was a good drive away and an evening wedding. I didn't want to completely exhaust the baby sitter!
Going almost anywhere with my sister-in-law and her sister is an instant party. We met up in group at this great Mexican restaurant, El Paso, that has a salsa bar about a month or so ago. We had so much fun.
My 45th b day party was the last time I remember really cutting loose. Dh rode his motorcycle to meet up with us after work. He was still wearing all his leathers when he arrived and some of the girls from work thought we hired a stripper. He gave me a lap dance and we proceeded to pour down Gentleman Jack until they chased us out and we had to find another place to drink. We went to visit the local motorcycle club, who's clubhouse almost always open.
I know I have been out since then, but this was great birthday!
I went to the BF's brother's bachelor party on Friday night (someone else was bringing their GF and the brother didn't mind). I was supposed to be a DD, but then the BF said he was going to do it and told me to go for it since they were trying to get me to do Royal Flush shots :lol3:
I went to the wedding on Sunday, but I think I "let my hair down" a lot more Friday night.
That was in my younger days. Now I just love to spend a day with my hubby, maybe on a day trip enjoying ourselves. Neither of us drink alchol, but we are hooked on Bojanges tea. So our day out, first thing we stop for a fix at Bo's. LOL
It depends on what you mean by "a night out"? Are you referring to going to a club of some sort, or does going to a family gathering count?
I'm not one to go out in public and make a spectacle of myself. I used to when I was younger though. Now my idea of fun is going to my brother's or a friend's house and just hanging out and playing games and just laughing and having fun. When I go out in public I'm more conservative though.
