Sugar just pulled a "hit and run" on me.  I was going into the kitchen, and she was playing Dash Ripcat.  She slammed into my shins, bounced off, changed directions on my bare foot and kept on running as fast as she could.

This happens at least once a day.  I guess I am just an obstacle in the path of play sometimes.

No animals (except me) were harmed in this action.

Sugar has also developed a new game.  She and Spice get Silly involved in playing tag, gets behind Silly and jumps over her full length, just barely skimming Silly's back with her stomach (stretched out Sugar is 36 inches long) gets in front, then they turn around and do the same thing the other direction.

I think S&S&S have reverted to kittenhood, but I love seeing Silly playing again.

"Silly indeed."
Don't you just love it?  Angel did something for the first time yesterday. He still gets the crazies sometimes, but never like this, after he peed in his litter box, he tore out of the kitchen, & ran past me into the hallway.  I was wondering "What the heck?"  He's never ran from the litter box before. "Crazy boy!!"

I think the change in weather is causing all cats to get the 10 o'clock crazies 24 hours a day.

Good point, but in my case I think it would be more like the 3 or 4:00 am crazies!

I heard Angel playing w/ one of his balls last night. I heard the ball, then him running & sliding on the hall rug.

Needless to say, when I got up this morning, the rug was in a pile.

I generally wake up with at least 1 and most of the time 2 furry mice on the bed with me.  I know they play at night, it just doesn't wake me up anymore when they do.  I go out in the kitchen and see what they have scattered all over and judge how many were in on it.

This time Spice was the culprit.  I saw her coming, moved to the left, got my right leg out of the way, and she slammed into my left shin so hard I yelled OUCH.  She just hit the bed, bounced onto the window sill and looked at me like "what is the matter with you.

The tops of both of my feet have scratches on them from the back claws of S&S "peeling out" after running into my legs.  I keep cotton balls and hydrogen peroxide right beside the bed for use on scratches.  They see me as just another obstacle when they are playing.  The cuddles, purrs, face rubs and kneading they give me make up for it, though.

Yea, Angel was "galloping" through the house this morning w/ the "Kitty Crazies" right before I got up.   "Get up Mom, Get Up!"

They are all enjoying the cooler weather.  Right now, Sugar is playing with one of her furry mice up and down and around and through the ladder leaned against the wall of the porch.  It is set so she can't knock it over or get caught or pinched in it.
