Photographing black cats?

Avoid flash whenever possible. When Queen Eva first came home I had so many people tell me she would be difficult to photograph, but I've never had any trouble getting her to show up well. :)

Those you've posted are all beautiful! :)

Yeah, the flash doesn't help at all in this case. I try to get my guy with a well lit room (natural lighting) and with lighter colors for the background. I find they take nice pictures with a red or grey background too.

Sunlight is your best friend. Also if you can adjust the exposure on your camera, set it to take a brighter picture.
I know the woes of having a black cat :p

I can, I have a DSLR and no clue how to work most of the manual settings lol..
