Hi from Loki, Taz, Barbas, and Ramses

Hi all. Just a cat lover like the rest of you. I live on a pretty good sized farm in Southeast Ohio. I get quite a few drop offs in my fields of unwanted cats and kittens. All 4 of my personal pet cats were all "toss aways". 

I've taken a unique approach to help catch some of these losers who toss these poor babies out. I've set up web cams in the fields along the road to catch them as they do the deed. I take the video to my local sheriff (I live in a county 20,000 people), he has twice now tracked the plate on the car. The most I can do is press trespassing charges, but at least these people aren't getting completely away with what they're doing.

I also recently had the orange tabby, taz, at the vet for having grand mal seizures brought on my Seargent's Flea Medicine. He had to be on i.v of muscle relaxers, vet said he almost died. I'm sure my report on this flea med is not the first.

 Hi & Welcome to TCS!!  What a bunch of cuties you have.  I love the "Orange kiss" on the last ones (Taz?)  mouth! So cute.

What a great idea to catch who is dumping kitties. I hope they stop, once they know they are found out!    Good work!! 

Sorry to hear that Taz went through that, but so glad he is better. "As you can see, I'm partial to Orange tabbies."

 (well, Angel is more ginger color, so I sometimes call him "my little gingy boy.")

Taz is an awesome kitty, he's brother to the black one curled up sleeping, Barbas. I found the 2 of them locked in a tiny cage with their mother about 4 years ago. About 3 months old, on an uncovered front porch. Cage was full of mess, it was absolutely horrible. I walked right up, put that cage in the back of my truck and then dared the owners to call the cops. They would have got in a lot more trouble for the animal neglect than I would have for stealing what the law would see as "property without value" cats I can guarantee you that. Barbas is the pride leader around here, he rules the roost for sure.

Loki, my special boy, he's the fat tabby and white boy on the couch, he was tossed up on my friends front porch from a moving car. Eyes weren't even open yet. He had to be bottled fed. He's a momma's boy for sure, and is never far from me, usually on me lol.

Ramses, the all brown tabby, I picked up from a feral colony as a kitten. He was so sweet, had no fear, and was the only one who would let me near him. He's everyone's best friend as soon as he sees them. Awesome playful personality

The little grey kitty sleeping with him is Xena, she lives at my daughter's house now but I had her here for awhile getting her healthy after finding her 1/2 dead in a McDonald's parking lot. 

I've included a few more pics. The little beige gal is Gabrielle, found her a month ago in the middle of the road. She is now living at my daughter's as well, a fitting partner to Xena, lol
