I know! What a way to open the season. Of all of our division rivals, I despise the Giants the most.
Tony was flawless (sans 1 interception), and the rest of the offense was clicking as well.
Rob Ryan has the D in rare form this year as well. Our D looked better than the Giants. I'm sure all that money they spent at CB is helping tremendously.
My roommate and I are doing a betting pool where every week we all have to pick an outright winner of one game, with the last person left getting all the money. My roommate was going to pick our home team, the Bears, but then he heard the stat about superbowl champions winning the last 12 opening week games, and it was 8-0 since moving to midweek. I'm still laughing, because he is out of the pool after not only the first week of games, but the very first day of games. All because he went after that stat, which he was bragging about all day yesterday.
Hilarious! I'll give you a big hint on that one. If it were me I'd never choose a divisional game. In the NFL it's been proven too many times that "On Any Given Sunday"...
Divisional rivalry only increases the probability of an upset. Just a thought...
BTW. I live in Nashville and am a huge Vandy fan. I watched Cutler's entire college career live. Man we miss him, too!
Aaron Rodgers little brother is good, but not that good. Ole' Jay is gonna have a good year now that he has Marshall back.
