Good evening folks.

An eventful day here as it was the first day back at school, which brings me to the following:

When does school start and finish where you are?


Please pay extra attention for children now that school is back.

For the kids here school started today well yesterday lol and different years go back on different days this week

If I remember correctly Scotland went back last week but its been a while since I've been up there this time of year

I think they started the week before last. Or maybe the week before that. Which is silly because most of the schools don't have air conditioning so they've already had to send the kids home in the afternoons a few days because it got too hot. They really should wait until it cools down more. When it ends depends on how many snow days they have to make up. Some time in May, usually.

Today.  And I was out around let out.  :0  No vet appointments again around 2-4...or a different road home lol
 

I think it was last week or the week before that most schools started.  I don't have school age kids yet so I guess I don't pay enough attention.  I think one of the private schools in the area started today.  I only know that because I was looking into their preschool program for DD next year (hopefully). 

They do have those electronic boards up on the highway reminding people that school has started too.  Definitely helpful!

They went back to school on August 22, I think, and I'm not sure when they'll be finished in June. I don't really keep track all that much anymore since our son grew up. My sister is a vice-principal at a local school and she worked all summer anyway.

Yesterday and today were half-day orientations, school really starts Thursday. It runs September through the end of June, poor kids get only 2 months off here in the summer.
