Your question reminded me of something that happened years ago when we had our first cat, Boots. Paul was in food sales and had a small attache case that he took to work each day. I guess he left it slightly open one night, and the next day when he was visiting a customer he reached into the case and what do you think he pulled out? - a toy mouse! Slightly embarrassing, unless the customer was a cat lover.
Just remembered another memorable cat incident. It was quite a while ago, we were still living in Ft. lauderdale. I always keep my checkbook in my purse and one day at work I went to pull it out to look at something but couldn't find it anymore. I panicked because I hardly ever (really never) lose anything. I went to the bank and the rep there said that I could close the account but the last few checks might bounce. I suddenly had a thought about BJ. My girlfriend from work and I drove to my house on our lunch hour. I looked in the bedroom and checked under everything. What did I find? The checkbook under the dresser with some telltale toothmarks on the cover. Didn't have to do a DNA to know BJ had stolen the checkbook from my purse and "hid it". was so happy to find it and not have to close the account. Stopped at the bank on the way back to work and the lady there got a pick laugh out of my missing checkbook story.
