That's horrible! And why did the put her on those hormones anyways? Why didn't they just get her fixed? They also have a tom cat living in the house!

awww that poor kitty Rich's bestfriends brother has a cat that is around 40 pounds. It had a seizour and then just started putting on weight. They tried keeping him on a diet but he would actually steal food when people were eating or cry so horribly that they often gave in He just look like a ball not a kitty. Poor guy could hardle jump.

Guiness book of records is not reconignithing (sp) that any more , you can read it in the link Miss Adoms provited . I am happy for that .
But the problem is that people don't stop for nothing this is really sad . The poor cat may pass away tomorrow for a person fame and that is sick

In the article they make it sound so "cute" and "sweet", but it's ABUSE! I can't beleive they are allowed and encouraged to treat that poor baby like that! Yzma- can you post the e-mail address for PETA, maybe if they get a few e-mails they'll take a look!

She only gets this and that, BUT we also give her milk and sour cream and we'll let her eat a hotdog for a reporter and we're TRYING to gether into the Guiness book? Uh, their story doesn't make sense. Someone needs to tell them that cow's milk products are bad for their cat and she shouldn't be eating human food. Aren't they listening to the vet that suggested a special diet food?

Hi Yzma,

I wrote a letter to PETA too. I don't know if they'll be able to do anything themselves since this horrible crime is occurring in Russia, but I told them I hoped they might know some groups there who could help.

I'm really, really disgusted by this. I can't believe how cute they made it sound in the story. If I lived in Russia I'd go take the cat myself!
