I adopted this outdoor cat about 3 weeks ago and took her to the vet the next day. She seemed somewhat skinny to me but her belly was hanging low like after you get your cat spayed. So my vet told me she was pregnant and felt about 3 kittens. Well since I have no prior medical history on her I couldnt tell when she go pregnant. He said she was in good health and it would be probably 30-40 days. On thurs she disapeared and I couldnt find her for hrs she was hiding in the basement under some stuff, so i figured she's trying to find a spot to have her kittens. So I made her up a box and waited and got nada. I saw later that evening that she had gunk on her nipples that looked like dried milk. So Sunday morning we noticed she had some blood coming out of her vagina so I thought yesterday was the day. She also went hiding again in my basement in a different smaller box. So I figured she was planning to do it down there in that box so I brought her litter box down and her food and when I put more dry food down she came out and ate it. I left her there hoping she would get calm and do what she had to. So still nada she came upstairs later in the evening and I didnt see any signs of babies and this morning she has been very vocal and wants to hang out in the living room and play with the dogs. I have no idea whats going since I've never had a pregnant cat. im pretty sure this is her first litter and her belly is still solid but I dont feel anything moving around although I never did. Anyone got any ideas please help?!?

Check very carefully she hasn't abandoned any kittens, and take her back to the vets and explain what you've written above.

I havent found anything so far but im going to keep looking Do You think it's possible that she ate them? I called the emergency vet and they are going to give me a call back when a doctor is free they are busy today. I dont know her previous habits so I cant tell what she was like before being pregnant.

You can get a show of blood for lots of different reasons.  She might not have passed any kittens, but she certainly needs keeping an eye on and not letting anywhere that's got too many hidy holes.

Yes, if it was an spontaneus abortion or much too early delivery very possible she did ate them.

Them eating kittens is not unheard of, but much more rare, esp as she wasnt high stressed down there.

So a vet check up if she is still preg should help you to know.  Although it is not necessary crash emergency.  Or if somene else knowleable could felt her out (if she isnt too shy).

Good luck!
