My good supply cord got eaten by my dog.  No idea but that is the only thing she has tried to destroy.

Greetings from my secondary computer.  It took a while but it is finally up.  the problem with the primary is the power supply.  When the electricity goes off, or when it is unplugged, the supply will not just come back on.  The cord has to be pulled partly out and wiggled as you punch the power button.  It usually takes a while to get it to catch, but this time it wouldn't do it.

This computer is one my brother found in an alley, checked it out and then gave it to me.  It is faster than the old one (which was also given to me by someone else), has more RAM and a larger hard drive.

The reason the nook is so hard to post from is that it is a First Edition Nook.  It has a very small touch strip on the bottom that is used to navigate and type.  You really need to use a stylus, and even then one little slip and the whole post erases itself.

Glad to be back on a civilized machine.

It's good to see you're back in business! Computer problems are so frustrating.

Yeah, I basically had to set up a new computer from scratch.
