We have play!

Sassy has been hissed and growled at so often, she's kind of fearful around all the full-time cats.  However, she has just started playing with Flambe.  I saw her sneak up on him and "mug" him in his cat cube.  He went straight up in the air!  Now he's doing the sideways humpy back dance at her.

I'm so glad she's coming around!

Now that the ice is broke, things can only get better!

She is a frantic player.  She loves the fuzzy mice, strings, plastic bags, etc.  My estimate of her age keeps going down.  Maybe 5, judging by her teeth.
 

Is this the older siamese looking girl you posted a photo of a while back?  It's funny because our foster cat (who we hope to adopt) is a bit of a mystery age wise too.  Her petfinder date suggested 8 yrs, the shelter paperwork suggested 6 yrs and my vet said she would have guessed 4  yrs.  All we know for sure is that she showed up at the shelter 2 yrs ago with her kittens.  And for whatever reason they estimated 4 yrs at the time.

But, she plays so much like a kitten it is amazing.  She puts my 1 1/2 and 2 yr old cats to shame (and they are quite playful themselves.)  I have to watch out for drawstrings on pants or dangling hair tempting her.  We didn't see that side of her at the shelter.  It's fun to discover it, isn't it?

That's great!!!  I can just see the ambush and the humpy back side dance!  LOL

That is so great!!! YAY for Flambe - wooing Sassy and getting her to play.

I think he misses playing with Sugar and Spice.
