This is our Dewey, aka Dewpuff. He's a super friendly 8 year old (give or take) that we got at the animal shelter almost 5 years ago. He was so mellow when the kids held him and patted him so we took him home. We hit the jackpot! I've had cats my whole life and he doesn't claw furniture, pee outside of the litter box (unless it's outdoors), he doesn't scratch the kids, no annoying habits like sucking on my earlobe when cuddling or "delicate digestion" and isn't prone to UTIs (all things I've experienced in the past), only gets the occassional hairball, rarely fights with other cats, etc etc. He's soft and huge (maybe Maine Coon?) but as the vet says, "he carries his weight well" (he's 14 lbs). He is so friendly he walks up to anyone that walks by and give them a little nudge. And he gets along well with kids of all ages, our dog and other cats.
He has developed a strange behavior lately (I created a thread about it in the Behavior forum), which has me a bit worried, but all in all... We just love our fluffy guy!
