I took my cats in to the Vet on Wednesday evening so that they could be boarded while my apartment was being fumigated.

I miss them sooooo much!!!  No cuddles for me before I go to bed, or when I wake up, or when I am toweling off after a shower!

I can't wait to have them home with me.  I suspect there is going to be hissing galore because they will have strange scents on each other from the clinic.

I've got everything ready for them!  The spare room is back in order. I fixed their cat tree. Some of the bolts had come loose and the tree was literally falling over.  I've changed the cat litter, cleaned their fountain and food dishes.  All that needs to be done is to fill the fountain and food dishes tomorrow.

Welcome home to your babies! I am sure you must be excited to get them back home. So sorry you had to deal with this. Happy homecoming kitties :rub: :heart3:

I called the vet and told them I'll be there in less than 1/2 hour so they are going to have them in the carriers.

Water dishes are filled, food is out, litter is cleaned.  And when I fixed up the spare room I put down their furry throw rugs in their favourite spots so that they can have some place soft to lay while they get the lay of the land again.

They're home!  Talk about a musical ride home!   One start to meow as they were being put into the car, and then another, and a third.  Eventually it was one meow after another; all different tones!  LOL

The cab driver was really nice. He loves animals.  He was talking baby talk to them when I was getting them out of the car. When he saw Abby he said he wanted to take her home; and that she looked squishably soft and cuddly!   hehe

They're out and about, quiet as can be, walking around making sure this is their place.

EDIT:   And the hissing begins.  Spencer and Katie encountered each other in the hallway.  And just now Abby encountered Katie, and then Spencer.  She sounds like a little snake,  lol

They're all over me like velcro!  Spencer won't let me hold him, but he is laying next to me and rolling around the floor near me showing me his belly.  Abby has been pasted to me since she got home. I finally convinced her the back of the couch near me is just as good as laying on top of me. It's too hot to have her laying on me. I was melting!
