Delilah has turned into a little ice cream monster. She was looking all cute one night when I was eating some ice cream so I let her try a few licks, not much but just a taste. I love ice cream and eat it way more than I should, so now every time I get some out of the freezer there is Delilah crying and jumping against my legs begging. If I sit on the couch to eat it she will climb up and try to eat it right out of my hand/ spoon (depends what kind of ice cream). She wont stop until I give her a tiny taste (literally a few licks). A tiny bit of ice cream every now and then wont kill her right.

Sounds like me and Aristotle when it comes to roast beef sandwiches. Now he mooches from anyone who eats one in the house. :sigh:

My Nicky is like that with rotisserie chicken and deli roast beef. I wish my little Nina liked some kind of treat; if she liked ice cream, I'd give it to her every day.

As long as it's not upsetting her tummy. Cats  dogs are naturally lactose intolerant. ...but a couple licks or so should be fine.

It starts with the excited jumping and crying when I am getting it out of the freezer, then goes to the I am just going to steal it from you if you don't give it to me. I can literally hold her back with one hand while she swings her paws frantically trying to get a hold of it. She is usually sniffing the air wildly too like she will suck it to her face if she smells hard enough. With half a nose it makes some funny noises too.

Noodles is the ice cream bandit in this house.  We don't leave our bowls unattended!
She generally isn't the friendliest cat; but when she sees us with ice cream she will come sit nearby like a little gray gargoyle...just waiting for us to put the bowl down.

I wish Delilah would wait till it was unattended, that would make it easier for me to eat. :lol3:

Sounds like my Walden :lol3: Ice cream or yogurt. Doesn't matter - he is relentless in having a taste. GO DELILAH!! and no, a little bit will not be a problem. If it were, Walden would have been sick long ago. I am so happy that you have her and turned her life around for the better. :hugs: - she is so very, very special. :rub: :wavey:

Sweetie has a strange craving.  If I'm eating ice cream or drinking milk he just ignores it, but as soon as I open a packet of Instant Breakfast to put in the milk he starts begging and even jumps up on the counter trying to get to it. While I'm drinking my beverage he sits at my feet staring up expectently.
