Last night I was talking to my brother on the phone, when Sugar got up on the headboard, walked across to me and dropped a furry mouse (dry, thank goodness) right in my ear.  She then jumped down beside me and gave me that  "well, there is the mouse, play with me" look.  So I did.  Then this morning when I woke up, there was Silly and she had been moused, too.  Anybody else got a cat with a sense of humor like that?

:lol3: My Presley takes the cake for "mousing" me!!! He brings me his toys ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is really cute BUT can I please get some sleep??!!! Most mornings I wake up with kitty toys all over the bed. It makes me laugh and the fact that he is busy doing this throughout the night, warms my heart. Presley loves his momma :rub: :happy3: AND it sounds like your Sugar is sweeter than sugar itself :D :clap:

LOL!  Mooch just drops them a bit out of my reach and looks at me pitifully.  She will lay all up against the baby when I'm feeding him though.  I manage to hold the baby, the bottle and pet her all at once.  For a while anyway.  It's not usually to her satisfaction and my wrist cramps.

Holly will do that.  She takes toys upstairs, and if the door is shut- drops them outside the door.

She'll also play "ding dong ditch" at the back door.  She'll look in like she wants to come in- then run away from the door

Silly kitty.  I like having a cat with a sense of humor.......

She is.  Sugar is the one that I see first as I wake up every morning.  She will sit beside my face and when I open my eyes, she perks up and gives me a face swipe.  She has to come to me several times a day, get some good petsies, then go back to whatever she was doing.

Try having a real - live or mummified - dropped on you.

Mom had a live baby mouse dropped on her when she was ill. Aristotle was fond of mummified ones, as was my niece's cat Azul.

Then there was the cat who brought me a mouse and proceeded to eviscerate it on my bed.

I have never seen a real mouse inside the house, probably because I have 5 full-time pest controllers. I see the occasional small lizard, usually half-dead from being played with.
