We have taken care of 4 feral cats for over 5 years, mother and 3 of her offsprings.  We have been able to tame one of them to be a house cat, but the other 3 are still feral.  We will be moving soon and cannot take the ferals with us into an apartment.  We have 2 others which we will take.  I have been on the phone and on line trying to find a "no kill" shelter for MaMa and her sons.  We have trapped them and they are spayed and neudered.  Can anyone tell me where I can get some help in Naples, Florida?

That is SOOO hard when we as feral caretakers have to move :sigh: I do hope that you can find a place to relocate this little family. What about checking horse barns in your area? Ones that would be willing to care for the kitties that is and keep them confined for a few weeks first before releasing them into the barn. That way they will stick around. Best of luck with this. :cross: :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

The 3 ferals I have are full grown.  I have been taking care of them for 5 years.  I trapped them and they are spayed and neudered.  The Mama cat is very small, about 6 pounds and the two sons are about 10 and 12 pounds.  They all look alike, pale grey with blue eyes.  I haved called everyone I can think of, but have had no luck with placing them.  I can't let them go free as they would surely be picked up and killed as they do here in Naples.  If there is anyone out there who would give them a good home, please call me.

Oh Sharon..... I am saying my prayers for your three feral kitties. Really, this is SO hard for you, I am sure. I hope someone steps up and can take them. :cross: :vibes: :cross: :vibes: :cross: :vibes: :cross: :vibes: :cross: :vibes: :cross: :vibes:

Thank you.  I pray everyday someone will want them.  It seems like ferals are throwaways.  They are really beautiful, but I have not been able to tame them.  I was hoping someone out there could do a better job and make them happy.  Thank you for your prayers.

It does makes it much harder to socialize when you have two or three completely feral cats living together in confinement. They will feed off of each others fear. Doesn't matter though... you have given them a beautiful, safe life so far. I respect you highly for that. My heart is so full of love for feral cats - they are so misunderstood and yes - many are just given up on way too soon and tossed away - so to speak. It takes a special person or special people to be able to share their life with feral cats underfoot in your home. Still sending major vibes for your feral babies. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:
