otherwise the only way i can get it to eat is by putting the nuts in his mouth which isnt really a good idea but he is/seems to be solely dependant on me if one of my cats or the kitten isnt around him he is teething badly n vets have told me to give him moistened nuts to heklp with the teething n that he is finding it hard to suckle because of this so plz any advice as to feeding him would good if i leave him in a room he just forages around n cries for his food plz plz plz Help ty

By nuts I assume you mean dry food/kibble? I'd be feeding wet or raw, at 5 weeks he should be eating wet just fine

He'll still need bottle feeding or formula from a dish, he'd still be nursing if with mum

Also if he prefers the company of other cats while eating why not let him? If with his mum & littermates he'd have friends to dine with

yes i do mean dryfood/kibble was also told to give him these by the vets told him he was eating the kitten meat but he said to just give the dryfood but to moisten it the other baby kittens r only 2wks old so therefore not eating food as yet she tends to him otherwise just wont feed him but this could be due to the teeth so he has company to snuggle upto n on the odd occasion the 2wks old ones would try to follow him she has taught him to use the litter tray still not 100% on it as yet but is getting there
