I just joined this site and already love it. We have 2 Calico cats. One is 10 years old and the other id just a few months. The new cat is a very unusual cat. The vet says she is a Tiger Stripe Hybrid Calico. She has tiger stripes on her back, neck and legs, but has Leopard spots on her tummy. We have had her about a month and have already spent over $1,200. She is a stray that came up with a bite on her head. We are having trouble getting the bite to heal. Right now, she is on an new antibiotic.
Since she has been here, our chihuahua has developed something, but even the vet isn't sure what it is. She has black spots on her that look like a flat mole or something, but when the black part flakes off, it is real pink and all the hair falls out. She is 10 years old and I have had her since she was 5 weeks old. At first the vet said she had staph, now, she doesn't know. Not real sure what is going on.
Molly, the new cat is staying on the front screened in porch for now, and the older one Sheba (as in the Queen of . . ) is out in the yard. The only one allowed in the house is Tippie, my baby girl.
Have any of you ever heard of this? I know this is a cat forum, but I am wondering if she is carrying something that is affecting the dog. Any and all answers are appreciated!
