So, I've been giving my 2 cats probiotics for the past 2 weeks. I usually take the capsule, open it, and divide it between the two cats. So, I put the capsule on the counter while I got their food ready and Gus just eats the entire thing.  I'm assuming this isn't a problem, right?  I'm not sure what the dose is for the cats so I just sprinkled a little on. Is it cool that he ate the whole thing? What is a standard dosage for cats?

I give each my cats 10 billion CFU a day.....

I'm sure Gus will be fine. :lol3: When I forget to sprinkle it on the food, I just dump it in the bowl, and they lick it up.

I also use 10 billion CFU per cat, which is one capsule per cat daily. :nod:

Great. I figured it wouldn't kill him.  I thought it was funny he just ate it up off the counter top.  If he ever has to take a pill in his life I hope it's that easy :-)

That is awesome! Obviously I'd be careful with any other meds then if it's that easy. But jeez you're lucky!

Yea, I figured it wouldn't work if he HAD to take the pill. lol

After my Guseepoo gnawed through my water bottle I figured he can get through almost any bottle, so all meds go high in the cabinets.

LOL... Mine get the same but I stuff it in a feline Greenies Pill Pocket.  I open the capsule and pour it in the Pill Pocket.  They gobble it right down.  Didn't think of sprinkling it on their food.  Hmmm...
